UC 19615

date: perhaps about 55 - 70 AD (on stylistic grounds)

Bierbrier/Walker et al.1997: 132, no. 134: 'The ears project in the style of Roman portraits of Julio-Claudian date. The eyes are inlaid in glass, the pupils and irises appearing as solid black. Traces of red paint appear in the nostrils and lips.'
