Ivory and related materials:
New Kingdom (about 1550 - 1069 BC)

Ivory and bone are used for a wide range of objects. In the New Kingdom many objects of daily use were especially richly decorated, reflecting an increased demand for ornate luxury objects. Favoured materials for these luxury objects include ivory and bone.
